Here is a line up of artists that will perform this Saturday evening.

According to Moody,

Micbandits, A Band Once, Layzee Clan featuring TJ and Khairy, MNC, NJ, Juju, Feez Madea, with dancers from Next Elements, B2BR and Liquidicezz. There will be a special appearance by Altimet, a renown Malaysian artist and producer.

No doubt, the event will be a huge comeback to Hip-hop since Too Phat's debut 9 years ago in Brunei. Talking about Hip hop, I asked Micbandits on how they started and the following are what they have to say:

1. Everything started off in 2003, where Kro and Zed started as a duo, which back then was called Brucity. In 2004 they finally met Khaos, who then was already producing beats and jingles. When they realized their chemistry clicked and their passion for music was as strong, they formed Micbandits in 2006. The website www.microbandits.com is an unofficial website for the group, micro being, still small and humble. But official name is Micbandits, which only represents the music and verses they incorporate into their songs.

2. Micbandits was discovered when Zed submitted their album to a Malaysian music blog/website for a review about their music. Little did he know, the website owner was in fact, Kartel Records vice President, David Tee. This sparked interest from Kartel and when they meet up in UK, the deal was set that they were to come down to KL and officially join Kartel Records.

3. Micbandits with 3 years down the line, has produced an album each year totaling to over 250 tracks released. We've had collaborations with a lot of established artists here.
