Our order of Mooncakes made by AB's mum finally arrived. We opted for the snow skin moon cakes rather than the baked ones because the family loves the soft texture of the skin and the fruit-based flavours and colour of the skin make them more delightful to eat. We ordered the mini moon cakes version because they look petite and lovely to eat.

Our verdict: The boys loved them and we shared the various flavours that we had ordered.... ranging from lotus, pandan, mango, cempedak, tarap and red bean. We also opted to the plain lotus and read bean filing instead of the ones with yolk. We had two boxes of eight moon cakes and it was gone within minutes.

Teochew version of moon cake with yam filling

This teochew moon cake version is really to DIE for!! The soft and flakiness of the pastry and the lovely soft yam filling really makes us all go GAGA!! Don't mind having this for SUNGKAI!!!
