Hanoi.. a bustling city... full of life. People wake up as early as 4.00 am to do their daily routine exercises and start their day... The residents also tend to sleep early because of this. Bikes and bicycles are the norm afforable mode of transports for the locals. So, it's not a surprise you will hear honking from cars and bikes to avoid road accidents. One comment from me.. I guess they will need to change their car batteries... at least every six months.. due to overuse of honks...

Food wise.. there are some halal restaurants, Parisien style cafes that sell sandwiches and coffee and some hotels have muslim chefs that catered for halal food. So, there is no excuse why many of us should not visit Hanoi...

The lake area in Hanoi is one of the main attraction area for walks, shopping or get into one of the cafes for drinks..It's also an area full of activities..

Lacquer stores.. a must visit for visitors. Over the years, the colour range has increased, to cater for all tastes..
